MX Lookup
Look up mail exchange (MX) records for any domain. Shows priority, hostname, and resolved IP. Free MX record lookup tool.
About this MX Lookup tool
MX records tell senders where to deliver email for a domain. CheckHub lists every MX in priority order and resolves each hostname to its current IP for transport debugging.
How to use the MX Lookup
- Step 1. Enter a domain.
- Step 2. Read the prioritized MX list with each mail server's IP.
Frequently asked questions
- What does the priority number mean?
- Lower priority is preferred. Senders try the lowest-priority MX first and fall back to higher numbers if delivery fails.
- Why does my domain show Google or Microsoft MX?
- It means email is hosted by Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. The MX records point at the provider's inbound servers.
